Kobi'lerde Kurumsal Yönetim Uygulamasının Kara Etkisi; İstanbul İlinde Bir Uygulama

Abstract

Bu çalışma ile İstanbul İlindeki KOBİ'lerin kurumsal yönetimi ne dereceuyguladıkları ve kurumsal yönetim anlayışının karlarına ne derecede etki ettiğinintespit edilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Kurumsal yönetimin en önemli sonuçları etkinlik veverimliliktir. Ayrıca kurumların uzun dönem varlıklarını sürdürebilmeleri de yinekurumsal yönetim anlayışıyla mümkün olmaktadır. Bu nedenle kurumsal yönetimüzerinde önemle durulması gereken bir konudur.KOBİ'ler esnek ve küçük yapıları sayesinde büyük işletmelerden daha hızlıdeğişen piyasa şartlarına uyum sağlama şansına sahiplerdir. KOBİ'lerin önemliolmasının nedenleri arasında güçlü ekonomilerin büyük işletmeler kadar küçükişletmelere de ihtiyacının olması ve sağlam bir KOBİ yapısı ile iktisadi gelişme,sosyal barış, siyasi istikrarın sağlanacak olması söylenebilmektedir. KOBİ'lerinişsizliğin azalması, verimliliği artırma, rekabeti güçlendirme ve bu yolla ülke refahını,yaşam standardını yükseltme gibi konularda çok olumlu katkıları olabilmektedir.Bu bağlamda KOBİ'lerin küreselleşen dünya ve rekabetçi piyasada varlıklarınıuzun dönemde sürdürmeleri ve karlılıkları arttırmaları kurumsal bir anlayışla mümkünolmaktadır. Bu araştırma ile elde edilen verilerin işletmelerin piyasada nasıl kalıcıolabileceklerine ve karlılıklarını ne şekilde arttırabileceklerine yönelik önemli katkılarsağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. The goal of this study is to determine to what extent the SMEs in İstanbulapply corporate governance and to what extent the corporate governance approachaffects their profits. The most important results of corporate governance areeffectiveness and efficiency. Furthermore, corporate governance approach makes itpossible for corporations to continue their existence in the long run. Therefore,corporate governance is a significant issue that needs to be discussed in detail.SMEs have more chances to adapt themselves to the changing marketconditions than the large enterprises due to their flexible and small structures. Someof the reasons why SMEs are guite significant are as follows: first, strong economiesalso need small enterprises as much as they need large enterprises (corporations)and then, a sound SMEs may also have positive contributions on the followingissues: lowering unemployment, strengthening competiton, and increasing theprosperity and life standart in the Sayısıry by this way.In this context, the survival of the SMEs in the globalized world andcompetitive market in the long run and increase in their profitability will be possiblewith a corporate governance approach. It is thought that the data obtained in thisstudy will provide important contributions towards how the enterprises may bepermanent in the market and how they can increase their profitability.
