The Atılım University Department of International Relations was founded in 1997. International relations is a field of science where the relations among states, organizations and other players in the international system are researched and observed. The field of international relations is also an interdisciplinary field, combining areas such as economy, history and political science to research on topics such as human rights, global poverty, environment, economy, globalization, security and global ethics. Offering three Graduate Degree programs in addition to the undergraduate program, the Department of International Relations continues to graduate individuals from its Graduate Degree Program in European Union Studies, as well as its Graduate Degree programs in Turkish and English.

Abstract

Etnisite hukukun üstünlüğüne bitti ve barış klan üstünlüğü olmadan beklenen nereye Bu tez Somali federalizm etkilerini inceler. tez esas olarak, özellikle kendini Somaliland ve Khaatumo rakip devletler aday Somali'nin kuzey bölgelerinde etnik çatışmalar üzerinde duruluyor. Çalışmada ayrıca, öncelik görüşler ve çelişkili gruplara Somali federal hükümetin düşüncelerini verir. Çalışma daha sonra Somali kültüründe geleneksel bir faktör olarak etnik arasında yeniden müzakerelerden getiriyor ve kalıcı bir uzun arasında siyasi katılım yol olarak ülkedeki etnik ya da klan üstünlüğü göre, federal yapılanma yanı sıra etnik çatışmalara yol açabilir, bulur siyasi istikrar sonunda.
This thesis studies the effects of federalism in the Somalia where ethnicity is over the rule of law and no peace is expected without clan supremacy. The thesis mainly focuses on the ethnic conflicts in the northern regions of Somalia particularly the self nominated rival states of Somaliland and Khaatumo. The study also gives priority the opinions and the thoughts of the federal government of Somalia to conflicting groups. The study finds that, according to the ethnic or clan supremacy in the country, federal restructuring may lead to ethnic conflicts as well as later brings renegotiations among the ethnic as a traditional factor in the Somali culture and leads to political participation among to a long lasting political stability eventually.
