The Department of Fine Arts and Elective Courses was founded under the School of Fine Arts Design and Architecture in 2016. Within the field of Fine Arts, and during our elective courses offered in English and Turkish for the undergraduate students of our University, our students learn about topics such as art history, art criticism, the relationship between art and society, cultural heritages and their protection, museums and museum studies. We contribute to the self and artistic improvement of our students through practice courses in the fields of music, theater, film, photography, dance, art, comics, statues, tile-glazing, mosaics, ceramics, elocution, rhetoric, sign language and digital art. We aim our students to gain the skills of the 21st century such as entrepreneurship, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, correct self-expression, flexibility, harmony, media and technology, self-guidance, responsibility, social and intercultural communication; through art. The courses of Theater for Entrepreneurship Skills and Creativity in Professional Life are offered in English, and are within the scope of non-elective Entrepreneurship courses.

Abstract

Ankara' da XV. yüzyıl yapılarından olan Karacabey Çifte Hamamının iç mekan analizi bu tezin konusunu oluşturmaktadır. YapınınAnkara ilinde konumlanması nedeniyle Ankara'nın XV. yüzyıldaki fiziksel ve sosyal durumu, 1300-1500 lü yıllarda Osmanlı'da dini ve sosyal yapıların tarihçesi ile birlikte ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca çalışmanın kuramsal çerçevesinde, Karacabey Çifte Hamamının günümüz genel özellikleri, mimari tanımlamaları, günümüze kadar yapılan restorasyon tanımlamaları ve değerlendirmeleri yapılmış, iç mekan tasarımı önerileri sunulmuştur. Yapının korunarak ve gerekli belgelemeler yapılarak gelecek nesillere aktarılması, iç mekan öğelerinin günümüzdeki durumunun tespiti ve restorasyon sonrası iç mekan tasarımı gerekliliğinin vurgulanması çalışmanın amacını oluşturmaktadır.
This thesis is issued on the interior analysis of Karacabey Double Hamams which was built on XV. century in Ankara. The social and phsical situation of Ankara in the XV. century was handled with the issue of religious and social structures of Ottoman between the years of 1300-1500 because of location of Karacabey Hamam structure in Ankara. Furthermore the theoretical perspective of thesis is current general features of Karacabey Hamams, architectural identifications, the restorations that was completed up to date and their assessments and interior design proposals. The preservation of hamam structure and transferring future by providing necessary documentations, the evaluation of today?s interior items which are belongs to hamams and as a finally necessities of interior design after restorations are the aims of this thesis.
