Özel Sektörde ve Kamu Sektöründe İş Etiği Algısı ve Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışma, kamu ve özel sektörde çalışan bireylerin iş etiğine verdikleri önem arasındaki farklılıklarla birlikte iş etiğine ilişkin davranışsal farklılıkları tespit ederek, iş etiği algıları ve uygulamalarında bir fark olup olmadığını araştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, kamu ve özel sektör arasında etik değerlere verilen önem, iş etiğini savunarak bu ilkenin yerleşmesine ve iyileşmesine gösterilen çaba, personeline etik davranışların benimsetilmesi için gösterilen titizlik, personelin sahip olduğu kişisel iş etiği değerleri, çalışma hayatında karşılaşılan iş etiğine uymayan tutum ve davranışlar incelenmiştir.Çalışmadaki verilerin yansız olması için, yöntem olarak anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada, kamu sektöründe ve özel sektörde çalışanların değer ve tutumları arasında teorik açıdan var olduğu düşünülen farklılığın geçerli olup olmadığını görmek amacıyla t-testi uygulanmıştır. Anket formu ile toplanan veriler SPSS 15.0 paket programı ile analiz edilerek aşağıdaki sonuçlara varılmıştır.Kamu sektörü ve özel sektör arasında;?Etik değerlere verilen önem bakımından, kısmen anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur.?İş hayatında iş etiğini savunarak bu ilkenin yerleşmesine ve iyileşmesine çaba gösterme açısından, kısmen anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur.?Personeline etik davranışları benimsetmek için titizlik gösterilmesi açısından, kısmen anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur.?Sahip olunan kişisel iş etiği değerleri açısından, kısmen anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur?Çalışma hayatında karşılaşılan iş etiğine uymayan tutum ve davranışlar açısından, kuvvetli bir yönde anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur.Anahtar Kelimeler:1.İş etiği2.Etik davranışlar3.Kamu sektörü4.Özel sektör5.Etik Algı

The aim of this thesis is to analyse whether or not the public and private sectors have different perceptions and practices on business ethics by means of determining behavioural differences of employees working in the public and private sectors together with attaching importance to the business ethics in these sectors. Attaching importance to the ethical values in the public and private sectors, the efforts to consolidate and improve business ethics, the efforts of employers to get their staff to accept the ethical manners, employees having individual values on the business ethics, and the manner and behaviours which are inappropriate to the business ethics in the working life are examined in this study.The questionnaire survey was conducted to reach unbiased data in the study. T-test was applied to understand whether or not the employees in the public sector and private sector have different values and behaviours which are theoretically assumed.
