TABAN DURUM VE İLK ORBİTAL UYARILMIŞ DURUM SIGMA(Q) BARYON İÇİN SPEKTROSKOPİK PARAMETRELERİN KUANTUM RENK DİNAMİĞİ TOPLAM KURALLARI İLE ANALİZİ Alsafi, Haneen Yüksek Lisans, Uygulamalı Fizik Yüksek Lisans Bölümü Tez Yöneticisi : Doç¸. Dr. Yasemin Saraç¸ Oymak Haziran 2019, 58 sayfa Bu çalışmada spin-(1/2) taban durum Sigma(Q) baryonlar ve bunların orbital (1P) uyarılmış durumları için kütle ve rezidü gibi spektroskopik özellikleri incelendi. Hesaplamalarda pertürbatif olmayan başarılı yaklaşımlar arasıda yer alan QCD toplam kuralları metodunu kullandık. Elde edilen sonuçlar var olan deney datalarının yanı sıra mevcut teorik tahminler ile karşlaştırıldı. Bu baryonların kütle hesaplamaları bizlere bunların iç yapıları ve doğalarının anlaşılmasının yanı sıra güçlü etkileşmeyi daha iyi anlamamızda önemli bilgiler sağlamaktadır. ANALYSES OF SPECTROSCOPIC PARAMETERS OF GROUND STATE AND FIRST ORBITALLY EXCITED STATE HEAVY BARYON SIGMA(Q) WITHIN QUANTUM CHROMODYNAMICS SUM RULES Alsafi, Haneen M.S., Department of Applied Physics Supervisor : Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Sarac¸ Oymak June 2019, 58 pages In this work, we investigate the spectroscopic properties, such as masses and residues, of the ground state Sigma(Q) baryons having spin-(1/2) and their first orbital excitation (1P) states. In the calculations we use the QCD sum rule method, which is among the successful nonperturbative approaches. The obtained results are compared with the existing experimental ones and present theoretical predictions, as well. The mass calculations of these baryons provide us with important insights into not only understanding the nature and substructure of these baryons but also gaining better understanding on the strong interaction.
