Ayrıca, bu çalışma klasik bilgi teknolojileri ve bulut bilişim teknolojilerinin karşılaştırılmasına ve Microsoft Azure platformunun diğer bulut bilişim platformlarıyla karşılaştırılmasına yer verilmiştir. Bu konulara ek olarak, bu çalışma QuizLMS uygulamasında uyarlanabilir gezinme tekniği olan bağlantı üretme tekniğine odaklanır. Bulut bilişim bireylere ve kurumlara veriyi daha hızlı ve daha az maliyette ulaşma imkanı, donanım veya yazılım bakımını kolay yönetme, kesintisiz hizmet, daha fazla esneklik ve yaratıcılık, ölçeklenebilirlik gibi avantajlar sağlamaktadır. Servis tabanlı çalışan bir teknolojidir. Bu çalışma üniversitelerde bulut bilişim kullanmanın avantajları ve önemi üzerinde durmaktadır. Uyarlanabilir gezinme teknikleri kullanıcıların amaçlarına hızlı ulaşmasını, gezintisel yükünü azaltmayı ve memnuniyet artışını sağlamaktadır. Bu tezde, en yeni uyarlanabilir gezinme tekniği olan bağlantı üretme tekniğini içeren bir uygulama (QuizLMS) geliştirilmiştir. QuizLMS uygulaması bulut bilişim ortamında yayınlanarak örnek bir çalışma oluşturulmuştur.This study shows some parts of development process of QuizLMS (Quiz Learning Management System) and publishing this application by using Microsoft Azure platform which is the cloud computing platform. Furthermore, this study includes the comparison of conventional information technologies with the cloud computing technologies and Microsoft Azure platform with other cloud computing platforms. In addition to these subjects, this study focuses on the link generation technique which is the adaptive navigation technique in QuizLMS application. The cloud computing provides the advantages to the individuals and institutions such as accessing to the data faster and with lower cost, easily management and maintenance of hardware and software, interrupted service, more flexibility and creativity, scalability. It is a service-based technology. This study discusses the advantages and importance of using cloud computing in universities. The adaptive navigation techniques allow the users to achieve their goals fast, to decrease the navigational load and to increase the satisfaction. In this thesis, the application (QuizLMS), which involves the link generation technique that is the newest adaptive navigation technique, is developed.
