With this aim, The 2012 International Youth Nuclear Congress has been held in Charlotte, North Carolina. IYNC2012 was focused on the use of nuclear energy more than ever after the accident at Fukushima power plant and also in the framework of the nuclear renaissance in many developing countries and world powers as well.
