The rate and the contribution of face to face learning on e-learning integrate important meanings in this learning process. Because of that reason distance learning is required to use mostly the facilities of face to face learning. Distance learning has a vital role in the process of e-learning's future. By the help of flexibility in e-learning, it includes consistently innovation and development in this approach. Nowadays, the strategy that is required for developing the quality and standards takes over the integration of academic standard, academic supervision and interaction of face to face learning in developing distance learning. It is important to design the academic approaches as a academically, scientifically and as a completion of the dynamic processes. E-learning models are based on the high quality, participation and productivity. By the help of productivity, moving the processes into the e-ambient and saving up the expenses, objectives of e-learning can reach to the level of the basics of modern e-learning. In this study, it is emphasized the importance of face to face learning on developing distance learning via internet for the e-learning environment. For this purpose, firstly it is pointed out the aim and the developing process of distance learning after that it is argued why face to face learning is required in distance learning and lastly it is determined the prudential suggestions and evaluations of this issue. Instead, we are teaching them what to think. (Clement & Lochhead, 1980, Cognitive Process Instruction). That is, critical thinking has a vital role in education. Based on classroom experimentation, it can be said that a student who thinks critically can ask appropriate questions, gather relevant information, efficiently and creatively sort through this information, reason logically from this information, and come to reliable and trustworthy conclusions about the world that enable one to live and act successfully. Therefore, they are more productive while using their second language. The aim of this paper is to present how to develop critical thinking skills of English learners via critical thinking activities. The mean number of components of each type either in a perfect functioning state or in a partially working state at the time of the system failure and at a time while the system is working are studied. An optimization problem concerned with the most economical value of n is also formulated. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V. Reflection measurements are performed on both flat and textured silicon (Si) SCs in order to investigate the local plasmonic resonances of the MNPs. The effects of particle size and thickness of silicon nitride (Si3N4)anti-reflection coating layer are investigated by reflection measurements and the shift of plasmon resonance peak position. It is found that surface roughness, annealing time, annealing temperature, and varying Si3N4 thickness can be used as mechanisms to control the size distribution, shape of the resultant nano-islands, and SC efficiency. The findings on the most suitable nanoparticle system production parameters by this method, depends on the applied substrate properties which are expected to guide further applications of plasmonic interfaces and also to the other kinds of device structures in the ultimate quest for attaining affordable high efficiency SCs. Within such a context, firms are striving to increase the demand for their products and gain attention through differentiation both in local and global markets. Due to its important role in international trade of countries, SMEs are being considered as major role players in economies and therefore became an attractive area to explore by researchers. The literature on the internationalization of firms is predominantly build on research from the US and western European countries while there is a few number of research conducted in Turkey (Bal and Kunday, 2014; Senguler, 2013; Kocak and Abimbola, 2009; Cavusgil, Knight and Uner, 2011). The internationalization of SMEs has been mostly investigated within the marketing literature and there is a lack on this subject within the Management and Organization literature. Setting out from this need, the aim of this paper is to investigate the entrepreneurial skills of the entrepreneur who founded the SME, the motive of the entrepreneur for starting the business, the innovativeness of the firm, and the relationship of these factors with the internationalization of firms. The sample of the research consists of entrepreneurs who have been reached via the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) study in 80 countries between the years 2000-2012. Hierarchical Regression Model was used to test the hypotheses at macro level including data from each country. Research findings and implications are presented and discussed. (C) 2015 The Authors. Mechanics of the process is studied in detail through physical trials and numerical models. Results show there are three distinct stages as the pin is pushed into the tube and that an optimum geometry maximising the joint strength exists. (C) 2014 The Authors. M.Dark electrical resistivity, space-charge-limited (SCL) current and photoconductivity measurements were carried out on Ga0.75In0.25Se single crystals. Analysis of the dark resistivity measurements revealed the presence of one level with activation energy of 0.10 eV. Current voltage characteristics showed that both ohmic and SCL characters exhibit in 180-300 K range. Analysis of the experimental data in the SCL region resulted with a trap level at 0.11 eV above the valence band. Photoconductivity measurements were performed at different light intensities in the temperature range of 150-300 K. Behavior of the recombination mechanism in the crystal was brought out as sublinear recombination from the dependence of photocurrent on illumination intensity. Moreover, obtained activation energies were compared with the results of other experimental techniques applied to Ga0.75In0.25Se crystals in literature. (C) 2013 Elsevier B.V. These results extend some previous results in the literature, since the condition under which the operator admits common fixed points is more general than the others in literature. Therefore, several well known results are generalized. As an application we use these results to existence of solution for nonlinear quadratic integral equation. To credibility, we apply modified homotopy and Adomian decomposition method to find solution of the above problem with high accuracy. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V. B.; Coşar, Batuhan Mustafa; Ozhan, A. E. S.; Aydogdu, G. H.; Coşar, Batuhan Mustafa; Computer Engineering; Computer EngineeringIon beam sputtering is one of the widely used methods for manufacturing laser optical components due to its advantages such as uniformity, reproducibility, suitability for multilayer coatings and growth of dielectric materials with high packing densities. In this study, single Ta2O5 layers and Ta2O5/SiO2 heterostructures were deposited on optical quality glass substrates by dual ion beam sputtering. We focused on the effect of deposition conditions like substrate cleaning, assistance by 12 cm diameter ion beam source and oxygen partial pressure on the laser-induced damage threshold of Ta2O5 single layers. After-wards, the obtained information is employed to a sample design and produces a Ta2O5/SiO2 multilayer structure demonstrating low laser-induced damage without a post treatment procedure. Numerical results for different solitary wave solutions including elastic and inelastic collisions, fusion of two solitons and with periodic solutions confirm the excellent long time behavior of the multi-symplectic integrator by preserving global energy, momentum and mass.
