Abstract

Today's cross-border business world uses various forms of partnerships beside mergers and acquisitions. Companies which undertake a certain project in these business partnerships also protect their legal independence. The links between entrepreneurs included in business partnership can be tight or loose. In International Trade Law, major types of business partnerships of the international construction industry are: Joint Venture, Consortium and the European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) in EU countries and other countries where laws of EU countries are adopted.
