Abstract
Children need special protection because they have not reached full maturity both physically and mentally. Throughout history, children have been deprived of the protection they need. Over time, the view on children began to change and children began to be considered as individuals who are subject to rights. Recognizing that children need special protection due to their special situation, a convention focusing exclusively on children's rights was signed in addition to basic human rights documents. With the adoption of the aforementioned Convention on the Rights of the Child, children have become subjects of rights. This Convention imposes obligations on the party states regarding the protection of children's rights. The party states will fulfill their obligations arising from the Convention through the administration.
