A COMMON FIXED POINT FOR WEAK φ-CONTRACTIONS ON b-METRIC SPACES

In this paper, we give a common fixed point result, for single-valued and multi-valued mappings satisfying a weak phi-contraction in b-metric spaces. Presented theorems extend, generalize and improve some existing results in the literature. Some examples are also given.

In this article, we give a fixed point theorem for set-valued quasi-contraction maps in b-metric spaces. This theorem extends, unifies and generalizes several well known comparable results in the existing literature.

Fixed Point Theorems for Generalized (α_* - Ψ)-Ciric Contractive Multivalued Operators in b-metric Spaces

In this paper we introduce the notion (alpha(*) - psi)- Ciric-type contractive multivalued operator and investigate the existence and uniqueness of fixed point for such a mapping in b-metric spaces. The proofs of Theorems 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 from [Olatinwo M.O., Some results on multi-valued weakly jungck mappings in b-metric space, Cent. Eur. J. Math., 2008, 6(4), 610-621] base on faulty evaluations. We give here correct but weaker versions of these theorems.

Ulam-Hyers Stability Results for Fixed Point Problems Via Α-Ψ Mapping in (b)-metric Space

We will investigate some existence, uniqueness, and Ulam-Hyers stability results for fixed point problems via alpha-psi-contractive mapping of type-(b) in the framework of b-metric spaces. The presented theorems extend, generalize, and unify several results in the literature, involving the results of Samet et al. (2012).
